Decylene Glycol (1,2-Decanediol), is a multi-functional moisturizer with broad spectrum product protection and deodorant activity. It reduces and/or eliminates the need for parabens, isothiazolinones and phenoxyethanol and balances sebum content and acne on skin. It acts as a conditioning, moisturizing, antimicrobial, anti-dandruff, anti-acne and antiperspirants/deo active. It exhibits excellent activity against acne causing P. acnes. Decylene glycol shows synergism with alpha hydroxy acids against P. acnes and reduces sebum content on acne skin. It is an alternative to Symclairol.
